We know that parenting a middle schooler comes with big questions, shifting dynamics, and a lot of love. That’s why this year, we’re excited to launch Growing TogetHER: The Parent Path at the Grow GatHERing: a series of interactive workshops created to run in parallel with the Grow GatHERing sessions happening for your middle school daughters.
While your daughter engages in workshops designed to build confidence, connection, and healthy habits, you’ll have the opportunity to dive into your own learning experience upstairs — connecting with other parents and gaining insight into how to support your child through these formative years.
🧠 Brain 101 + Prevention & Drug Trends
This all-in-one session unpacks what’s going on in the developing middle school brain and how it impacts your child’s emotions, decision-making, and risk-taking. You’ll also learn about the latest youth drug trends, substance use and the intersection of social media and effective prevention strategies you can use at home.
🚭 Catch My Breath: Vaping Prevention for Adults
Explore the facts, risks, and realities of vaping in youth culture today. This workshop is based on the evidence-based “Catch My Breath” program and equips adults with tools to guide conversations and prevent substance use.
📱 Play Together, Grow Together: Using Play to Strengthen Connections
Discover strategies to interrupt unhealthy social media patterns, foster healthy risk-taking, and reintroduce joy, creativity, and balance into your daughter’s life while modeling the same for yourself.
