Park Hill Community Alliance for Youth exists to promote a SAFE, HEALTHY, and DRUG FREE environment in the Park Hill community
Park Hill School District, Platte County Health Department and Park Hill Community Alliance for Youth are pleased to host the hard hitting documentary: Screenagers Under the Influence: Addressing Vaping, Drugs and Alcohol in the Digital Age. This is a free event for community members, adults, parents/guardians and teens aged 13 and up with food, raffle, film screening, and Q&A with experts!
We welcome parents and their children ages 13 and up to view the film. Limited childcare for those ages 6-12 will be provided and MUST be preregistered. Once these spots are sold out we will be unable to accommodate additional children.
It's been said... "It takes a village to raise a child." A community coalition like Park Hill CAFY seeks to pull together a diverse representation of the village to collectively establish a comprehensive plan to keep our kids healthy, safe, and drug free!
Across the past several decades we have seen rapid growth in an field called Prevention Science. This field as well as others have taught us so much about how the youth brain develops and what actions we can take that will truly work to keep our kids healthy and drug free. Our coalition seeks to balance the scales for our kids by reducing RISK Factors and increasing PROTECTIVE factors.
