Maddie Wegner serves as Program Director for Park Hill Community Alliance for Youth, bringing a background in public health, prevention, and family-centered systems work. She earned her B.S. in Psychology from Kansas State University with a minor in Human Development and Family Sciences and a certificate in Early Childhood Consultation. Prior to joining CAFY, Maddie worked with the Kansas Department of Health and Environment on statewide maternal and child health initiatives and also supported families in substance use recovery through trauma-informed parent-child programming. In her free time, Maddie enjoys thrifting, crafting, and traveling. She loves spending time with family, friends, and her two dogs and cat!

Kyra Fuchs is a Community Prevention Specialist at Beacon Mental Health, where she provides technical assistance and support to local substance use prevention coalitions. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences from the University of Nebraska at Kearney and is currently pursuing a Master of Public Health with a focus on health

She earned her bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences from the University of Nebraska at Kearney and is currently pursuing a Master of Public Health with a focus on health policy through Texas A&M University. Kyra is passionate about empowering communities through accurate, evidence-based information and advocating for health across all sectors. Outside of work and school, she enjoys attending concerts, thrifting and antiquing, and working on her latest furniture restoration project!
