Join Us For The 2026 Grow GatHERing

Get ready for the 5th annual Grow GatHERing! This event is designed especially for 6th, 7th, and 8th grade girls and is packed with interactive workshops, fun activities, connection, and opportunities to grow.

At the Grow GatHERing, students will discover tools to boost self-esteem, strengthen emotional regulation, enhance self-efficacy, and build supportive relationships, all key components of social and emotional well-being.

Every girl in attendance receives a take home bag full of goodies so support their health and well being! Not only will your daughter get all of that but we have some amazing giveaways!

Saturday, November 7th, 2026

9:00 am - 1:00 pm (Check in at 8:30)

LEAD Innovation Center 7201 N Line Creek Pkwy, Kansas City, MO 64151

All 6th, 7th, or 8th grade middle school girls for the 26/27 school year are invited to attend.

While the event is intended to reach youth in the Park Hill area, students from other areas can also register.

Grow Together - For Parents & Guardians

11:30 AM–1:00 PM

Parents and guardians—this part is for you!

Grow Together is a dedicated parent education session happening during the second half of the Grow GatHERing. While your student continues participating in the event, you’ll have the opportunity to learn more about what today’s middle schoolers are navigating and how you can support them.

The interactive session will cover current substance use trends, peer influence, and other challenges young people may encounter. You will learn about practical strategies for recognizing concerns and starting conversations with your child.

Your student will continue participating in Grow GatHERing programming while you participate in Grow Together.

Parents will rejoin their middle schoolers at 12:40 pm to finish out the day with makers stations, allowing participants to create something to spark joy for someone else!

Empowerment is always better with friends!

If your daughter refers a friend to sign up for the Grow GatHERing, both she and her friend will earn an extra raffle ticket for a chance to win amazing prizes (both she and the friend will need to be registered).

How it works:

Have your daughter invite a friend to register for the Grow GatHERing
Make sure that her friend enters your daughter's first and last name when signing up in the Friend Referral Question and both of them will receive an additional raffle ticket.
The more friends she refers, the more chances she has to win!
